As is life there's two games at play.
Build an empire of material wealth.
Or turn to the beast and slay.
This definition will be determined by the individual players. You may claim victory as the player with the most coins—rightfully so, as you’ve answered the most ‘general knowledge’ questions. Or will you claim your crown by shedding your vices, and ascend to Godhood by climbing the ladder and answering the ‘Philosopher’s Code’ question at tile 42?

The Tungam is the board that players use.
Natal cards: these can be viewed as an astrology chart for the individual player, having an impact on their fate as they travel around the board.
Vices: as is life players will be dogged down by their vices throughout the game. Out of the 7 deadly sins each player will have different ones depending on which natal card they have chosen.
Fate Cards: around the board players will land on fate tiles, they will turn over a fate card and reveal its message.
General Knowledge cards: the general knowledge trivia is for those players seeking material wealth. Answering these will build a players fortune.
Philosophy & Mythology cards: if you dare to become a God these are the questions you must take on. More difficult than the general knowledge trivia, but surely worth it?
Philosophers code cards: at tile 42 if players have played for the glory of becoming a God then they will be faced with a final sphinx style riddle.
Only roll the standard cube (6 sided).
The tetrahedron (4 sided) is to be used only instructed by a fate card, and this will only be for the players next turn only.
The octahedron (8 sided) is to be used by a player if they achieve God status.
Before the game begins each player must choose a wooden figure, and around it wrap 8 bands in this order from top down white, violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red at the bottom, these are the players vices, the figures then must be placed on the beast rung (bottom) of the ladder.
To move up to the warrior rung (middle) the player must first remove 3 bands which are red, orange and yellow.
To remove each vice the player must pay a debt of 3 Chi stones.
To move to the God rung (top) the player must have removed green, blue, indigo and violet.
Violet cannot be bought, it can only be removed by the answering the philosophers code question correctly at tile 42.
The white band must not be removed and is a symbol of victory.
Every player must start of with the reptile figures.
Once a player reaches the warrior ring of the ladder they must change to the warrior figure.
If a player becomes a God they must use the brass lamp.
Slaet is the rodent that is in the game and will follow players around the Tungam trying to catch them.
Slaet must roll the dice last, any player can roll for and move Slaet.
If Slaet reaches a player it must stop at the tile, and that player must deduct 5 Chi stones from holdings. If a player does not have 5 Chi stones they must give what they have and the nominate another player to pay the remainder.
Serpent: If a player lands on one of the two serpent tiles they must deduct 3 coins and receive 3 Chi stones.
Planetary/Zodiac: If a player lands on a planetary or zodiac tile they must refer to their natal card to see if the planet or zodiac sign falls into a favourable or unfavourable position, this will determine whether the player gains or loses coins or Chi stones.
This is the tile where players if they have removed 6 vices (bands) they will have the chance to play the philosophers code question to remove the final vice (violet) and claim their God Status.
If at tile 42 the player has choose to play the game for coins then they must play the general knowledge question at tile 42.
Players must decide whether to play one lap (42 tiles) or two laps (84 tiles).
The second time around the board the philosophers code question cannot be played at tile 42, all players must play the general knowledge question at this point.
